Our CityKampala, Uganda, is the nation's capital--a bustling, crowded, sometimes noisy but exciting place to live and serve. Population estimates vary from one million + upwards, as the streets swell daily with workers and others coming in from the countryside. Many missions, denominations, and other service agencies have their headquarters or residences here, as this is the centre of business, industry, and trade as well as government. As in ancient Rome, all roads (literally) lead here, so it is a good location for ABU. 13 photos |
